I'm Parul Jain and this is My Story!

​I began my career as a Chartered Accountant (C.A.), diving deep into numbers, spreadsheets, and audits. Yoga first entered my life during the intense preparation for my C.A. exams. At that time, yoga was merely a series of asanas- a physical activity to keep me active and energized during long study hours. Little did I know that this would become a profound part of my life. After clearing my exams, I landed a job at a reputed accounting multinational, followed by positions in other organizations. The corporate life was fine but came with its own challenges. Everything seemed okay, yet deep down, I felt something was missing. I found myself repeatedly asking, "Do I really want to do this for the rest of my life?"

After 12 years in my C.A. and corporate world, I began to re-evaluate my purpose and goals. Yoga, which had always been a source of calm and physical fitness for me, emerged as my true calling. Over time, corporate life became more demanding with long working hours and less sleep, impacting my health with issues like back pain and tennis elbow. As I tried to manage my well-being, my inner creativity was also being neglected. These challenges made me realize I needed to pursue something that aligned with both my personal and professional aspirations. Yoga, my sanctuary, became the clear choice.

I immersed myself in the world of yoga, reading extensively, earning various certifications and degrees, and undergoing intense teacher training courses. This experience opened my eyes to the fact that yoga is much more than just bending and twisting into complicated poses. The positive changes within me were undeniable, and I realized that yoga was a lifelong journey of discovery. As the saying goes, "If you never go, you will never know."

Everything started to fall into perspective. With newfound clarity, I decided to take the leap. Leaving my corporate job, I embraced my new path as a Yoga Professional. I have had numerous opportunities to teach and connect with different clients facing various health issues. The joy I experience from helping others on their journey to healthier living knows no bounds. The teachings of yoga laid down a strong foundation for creating BALANCE in all the areas of my life, and I hope to share this with as many people as possible. On this new journey – the sky is the limit!

Parul is an internationally certified yoga teacher based in Bengaluru, India, with several years of experience in practicing and teaching yoga. She completed her Yoga Teacher Training Course and Prenatal Postnatal Teacher Training Course through Yoga Alliance USA. She holds a Master's degree in Yoga and has completed multiple certificate courses in Yoga Vidya from reputed yoga institutes across India.

​

Having transitioned from the corporate world, she understands the common health concerns associated with a sedentary modern lifestyle. Yoga has been a cornerstone of her personal well-being, positively influencing her life beyond her professional role.​ Her mission is to spread awareness about yoga and empower individuals to achieve optimal health.

 

Her teachings are a blend of traditional practices, such as Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga, with modern approaches like Vinyasa Flow and yoga with props. She conducts sessions for both Indian and international clients, successfully managing various health concerns, including weight loss, thyroid, back pain, joint pain, women's health, and general fitness.
